Nickelodeon Canada launches today

Corus Entertainment and MTV Networks International today are launching Nickelodeon Canada, a Canadianized version of the popular American cable television channel Nickelodeon.
The channel can be found in many different countries, including the UK and Australia, where it is often referred to by its shortened name, Nick. In the U.S., the channel is aimed mostly at children ages 6–20, with the exception of their prime time block that is aimed at children ages 12–20.
The service will also bring viewers Nick library titles such as Ren & Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Rocko’s Modern Life, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and The Rugrats. Rounding out the schedule, Nickelodeon will feature original Canadian series including Grossology, Max & Ruby, Storm Hawks and My Friend Rabbit.
