Ok2 black screen on every channel

I've had a couple people with a black screen on every channel on stb emu firesticks. Went to the panel panel tried resetting the macs multiple times, changing the macs multiple times, using tivi mate, but nothing works and still getting black screen on every channel. I tried my Mac and it's working fine. Tried both their macs on my devices which are a firestick and buzz tv, with the buzz player, stb emu, and tivimate, but still getting black screens. Anybody know if there's any ongoing issues. ISP is spectrum for both people having issues, but I also have spectrum and my mac is working fine, but black screen when I tested their macs.

Dealing with it here as well. More folks as of this morning have the same issue as well.

The only thing that they all have in common, is that they are all on Fiber.

Negative. And Im atleast 400 km's away from any Rogers service area. The only people that seem to be affected though, are those with Bell FIber. Makes no sense to me how they're indirectly affected, quite odd.

I wonder if it has something to do with specific accounts just not working properly? My sub is working fine. I tested a customer's mac on my box and I get the same black screens he's getting. Mac reset did not work. I switch back to my mac address and every channel works perfectly.

I have 3 accounts the same thing only black screen...Soo what I did is delete the MAC address then activate again boom it works

sounds like user_output needs rebuilt

dont know what software they are using but we had same issue when moved to a new software and had to rebuild user_output file and it fixed for all users

could be the issue

now what jmaa said by deleting and activate again would also rebuild the user_output for that mac or user account

cloudfare often run into troubles they do ban ip`s

This server has a cloudfare security protection
it will ban individual ip`s if it senses an attack.It has been known that it has had problems
in the past.In the community it is known that if you have a static ip there is a walkaround.

Warning do not try to duplicate the address or any other in the screenshot
you will get banned from the server if it has the protection its an example of what happens mistake or not.

What does Buzztv have to do with this ?

Regardless of box or software, a panel reset may be required. A factory reset of box, for this, is overkill.
If you are using MAC, you can easily install STBEmu on buzztv box to test any MAC, effectively taking buzztv out of the equation (that is what I do to test y customer MACs). And if you are using XC API login, there are many other packages you can use to test also.
