I thought about burning my 2020 calendars as I was taking them down. I don't think the new year is going to be much better. There will probably be a peak of covid infections in the next couple of weeks. When the infection rate goes down the accumulated debt will have to be paid, so we'll probably be hearing the word "austerity"used more often this year.
