Hi all,
My friend has two receivers with two different subscriptions. When he changes channel on one receiver, the other One freezes. Then he has to change channel and both boxes work.
Set up: Two legacy lnb, two diseqc 4X1 switches
Thanks in advance

Don't use the same diseqc ports on both receivers. For example use 91 port 1 / 82 port 2 on one receiver. 91 port 3 / 82 port 4 on second receiver. Or better yet use sw21 on one receiver and diseqc on second.

When connecting 2 receivers with diseqc-switches & Legacy lnb’s, if 1 receiver freezes when switching and “no signal” is displayed it could be low signal isolation in the lnb causing leakage into the other port. Get good quality diseqc switches like Emp Centauri switches and that should solve the problem.

The DL-T5's i used Did not work well with Emp Centauri switches, Chieta diseqc switches worked better with them

Would a twin dpp lnb solve the problem?

I'm not sure exactly what your Problem is, if freezing that could be a number of things causing it
(heat,LNB'S, Network, power supply, cabling, server, etc.) Without pin-pointing or tracking down what is causing your problem
a twin dpp lnb may not be the issue or fix you need to solve it. Process of elimination is the only way you will get a handle on it.
are you getting any Messages showing up on TV screen when this happens like (no signal, bad signal, etc.)

could be a conflict between the two different subscriptions, trying to access at same time etc.
Is it one-North one-South or both the same ?

As long as they are good quality switches, I have seen this issue a few times when people use cheap/no-name switches........
