Dreamlink HD and T4

Im looking at buying an HD and a T4 but want to make sure they have the board installed. Im pretty sure the T4 board is correct but have never tried the Dreamlink HD. I currently have a T5 and T4. Looking at these for a friend.
Here are some pics...Just never saw a red HD board before........

Red board is the dl100.Blue board is the dl200.No functional difference between the two, all things being equal.Either can do turbo 8psk.Keep in mind that the dl100 is mature now, so having a spare 20 buck part is a good idea.

Noof, what do you mean about having a spare $20 part and the dl100 is mature? Do you mean getting a hold of a spare dl200 due to the age of the dl100? Getting both of these shipped to me for $90 CDN. Just want to make sure they will work out of the box without having to install anything else.....Besides the proper files if needed of course.....

Sorry bro...nobodyspecial is correct.Dreamlink HD uses a different 8psk module than the T4/T5s' do.

Ok, well thanks for the replies. Ended up getting them both for $80. Couldnt really pass that deal up.

had to buy the green board to get hd

They stopped shipping them with the factory board after a while

Well the guy told me he had paid his original seller a little extra to have a HD board installed and he was watching HD channels. Hopefully it works. If not, still not a bad deal for the two boxes. Can still watch SD on it I assume.

Ok, got them in. Already have the file for T4 as I did one a couple months ago. Never did the DL HD model.
Just to be safe, is the latest file for the DL HD---> DL_HDpvr_121 <---posted by nobodyspecial on 01-13-2014 (to get 82/91)

It had 119 do I updated it to the 121 file. Prob now is I cant get into the server settings. I thought it would be 0000 but its not working. Was there a different 4 digit code for this model? Going to email the guy I bought from and see if he changed it. If not, is there a way to get it back to 0000? I already factory reset after loading the bin file.

disregard I found this from me...lol

If you are trying to retrieve the info you cant unless you can guess the pin
If you are inputting new info you can use the make2dream program to input the new server info
This will also reset the password to 0000

Ahhhh, thats why. I tried everything and then decided to try make2dream, which I never used before. After using that, it reset the password back to 0000. I assume the make2dream has different ones for each model or can I use the same for both?

The T4 didnt lock me out so all is good. Both running perfectly. Thanks for the help........
