So I just bought an xr4500. What mouse or keyboard is recommended? Also have the freezing issues been resolved?

I'm brand new to iptv. Is rocket and nips the main heavyweight servers everyone middle subs thru?
Also I have 25mbs net hoping its fast enough after running thru a vpn.
Supposed to be here Monday

You will have to choose the optimal servers with your vpn with a 25 mbps service.Buffering can/will be a problem.
There are several good choices for services at this site outside of the heavy hitters you mention.Do your research.

Obviously faster is better but what mbs speed should I have? I have been reading for days about the providers with all the promises. Hoping I dont get one that disappears in a month

the providers on this site are fairly reliable
Just remember all servers have issues at some point

Between now and Monday do some research on the unit and iptv services here. Nothing is perfect but the more you read and understand the less likely you will be disappointed.

Is there a long range option that will work in other rooms? I have an onkyo 3 zone setup so I watch this from 3 different locations at home.
I see some mixed info for using your android based phone as a controller but see complaints about keyboard problems with app.
The above mentioned remote is bluetooth and doubt the range is very far, maybe someone knows?

depends on which class it is

Class 1 transmitting at 100 mW with a range of 100 meters or 328 feet.
Class 2 transmiting at 2.5 mW with a range of 10 meters or 33 feet (most Bluetooth headsets and headphones are common Class 2 devices).
Class 3 transmitting at 1 mW with a range of fewer than 10 meters.

plus you could always use a repeater

Unless you are planning on running a ton of apps you wont need any more memory
If you are planning on doing a ton of recording get a drive

The micro sd class 10 isnt good enough for recording? When you say a drive. A flash drive? Ext hdd?

That's my plan when I get my box is set recordings. For apps I dont know if I will be using very many.
