stuck on 1.6

friend lost ok3 after upgrade It was on version 1.6 so i went to aptoide market to do the upgrade routine and buzztv 2
was not there I upgraded two buzz 3000s this weekend so i know its there for the 3000's
Is upgrade not possible?

I have 2 people on the same boat.
Had to give ok2 to them because of no update.
Ok2 working for them.
Been long time since the 2000 been updated.

I have 1 buzz xpl3000basic on 1.6 and coming up with an error message Please Contact your provider to register this device on the ok3 panel.

The other boxes are at 2.0 (350). Is it possible 1.6 is preventing the box from connecting to ok3? it doesnt seem to update.
