Buzz XR4000

Hi All,

I am receiving the message (Cannot load portal: Your device is not supported) on ok3 when I try and watch tv. It was working perfectly last night.

Did a factory reset and box is hard wired. No new updates came down and the box is currently sitting at ver 4.0.404 with an update date of 12/09/2019.

any ideas?

Make sure server info is correct and ask your reseller to reset your mac address.

I tried both already. I also have a 3000 model and that was giving the same message and just in the last minute an ota update came down and connected. A few people called me mentioning they are receiving the same message. I am wondering if all the buzz models are coming with updates today.

Confirmed . The 3000 model has a latest update date of today. Maybe the 4000 will come sometime today. Multiple people are having issues at the moment.

a few of my customers had the same issue with 'device not supported'.... but then got an update all on buzz xpl3000. so that might be it...

I was on another server when I checked ok3 I get same message server is down.Give them some time.

yes buzz have sent updates to basic,3000 3900 and stick so far
4000 and 4500 to follow

Have you hit menu, check updates

Issue is OK3 changed something on server side today
That causing this issue, not only for Buzz but other brands also.
And they cant revert this change, so forced Buzz to fix it themselves.


Update was pushed to fix it on 3000s, Basics, 3900s, 3100s

4000s + 4500s will get the same update before Monday.

I had to get 1 person to perform a clear data , the update kept coming down but wouldn't actually update the box. Everytime the box was rebooted it kept asking for the update. 3000 model.

should have first went to live tv/menu and check version at bottom left

Same problem with Boomerang Mate 1 boxes (which are from buzz and use the buzztv app).
Same exact message.

Forcing the update, factory default etc can’t get them online. I used the stub workaround for now.

As for the 3000 model, some have still not received the update , and some others are updating but still giving the same error message. After rebooting them , they say to update again but the update doesn’t actually get implemented. I used the stb emulation for now.

Most 3000 are up but not all with the update.

Been using xr4000 for a couple days now, it is easy to operate and picture quality is excellent. The only 2 issues I have had so far is when I try to connect to Bluetooth it shuts off and I had to reboot for it to start again, tried it twice same result.The second issue is it wont connect to some servers as I see other xr4000 may be having same problem.

you need to post server names if you hope for buzz to fix them in next update

I have the old one 404 ,the 4500 has 429 or 425 something like that
