So after buying the XRS4000 I was happy to see the new remote design even though it was larger than their past remotes. It seems lighter and fits nice in my hand but why, why, why is Buzz still using that lame mouse that travels slower than a herd of snails traveling through peanut butter. Very frustrating...I mean really Buzz?

Its becoming more common place to see today's entertainment apps require mouse support and I'm not sure what Buzz was thinking but why are they not implementing an air mouse, I mean c'mon it can't be the cost, I've seen them online for as low as $9.99.

Additionally, and this is not a Buzz's fault and I'm not sure about other members but I really dislike IR remotes, yes I'm a lazy couch potato but I don't like having to stretch out my arm pointing my remote directly at my box every time I need to change the volume. I use an RF air mouse from Minix which I love. I can understand cost may be a factor with RF remotes but it would be nice to see Buzz offer a RF remote or maybe they will be on the XRS5000, let's see.

buzz have an air remote Its not cheap though

https://www.amazon.ca/BuzzTV-ARQ-100-Wireless-Keyboard-Android/dp/B07KMLZKNV/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3585FZGATN60G&keywords=buzz+remote&qid=1579045591&sprefix=buzz+re%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-2

Personally I like the remote a lot. The buzz software needs to be improved so the mouse works better
I dont really even have to point at the box just i the general direction too works pointing up too...lol

I just find it very comfortable to use the functions on it jmo

Yes I saw the ARQ-100 and it seems to be a clone of my Minix A2 Lite with the exception of the front button layout and some added buttons. What I dislike about the ARQ-100 and has made me think twice about buying it is the keyboard is backwards, meaning when you are typing and use your right hand to flip it back over the remote is upside down but on my A2 is right side up. For lefty's it's fine but for right handed people it's the opposite of my A2 and I find that a bit annoying. I guess it was designed by a lefty but I'm really surprised as the world's population is roughly 90% right handed. Frustrating but not a deal breaker.

IMO I don't think the ARQ-100 is that expensive compared to my Minix A2, I've had it for years and very happy with it I might add. I paid $50 for it at the time and I see it's still up there at $45 so the ARQ-100 at $30 is a bargain compared to the Minix A2.

My beef with Buzz is IMO they could have just simply added the air mouse to the standard remote and left the keyboard to the more expensive remote but it is what it is and I can understand why they chose to do it that way.

Any feedback on the ARQ-100 as I may pick it up and try it out. Thanks guys.

Buzztv's 3 new models coming out will come with a Bluetooth + Backlit Remote
It will come standard with the new XR + XRS 4500 + ST4000 Stick.
The mouse works much better on it as well compared to IR Remote, but not like an RF/Air Mouse.

Currently you can buy the ARQ 100 Remote, which is an RF Remote + Air Mouse
It works well and should meet your needs.

It's not about learning it's about how it's designed.

No it will not support 802.11AX wifi
Which if am not mistaken is now being called Wifi 6

Almost no new devices support this as of today.
Only the new Iphone 11 series, which even still people say don't work properly + Samsungs S10 Phone, and maybe a few other devices so far.

You also need a new Wifi Router to support Wifi 6/ax
This is very similar hype to 5G on Cell Phones it seems like.
