sorry to hear about your loss...i've had to put down 3 of my dogs in the last for years and it was very hard to do...they are part of the family

Ditto to what Habsfan said, sorry to hear of your loss and I agree with him that dogs are a part of the family.

I too had to have an old English Pointer of mine put down some months ago as he developed an enlarged heart and got very sick, he was not only a great dog that had some character but he was also a pretty good bird dog.

I didn't know what was wrong with him except that he started refusing to eat and he was acting sick so I took him to the vet and his blood tests were fairly normal so they finally did xray's and that was when they finally saw what was wrong.

Thank you all, Storm loved to go for walks with the wife, the wife would get her to carry the mail back and sometimes light things from the store. Then one day she was taking her for her daily walk and she turned around because Storm just couldn't walk anymore. The the next week her nose started to bleed and we knew something was up when that happened it ended up being a tumor but the vet wasn't concerned with that. But he basicly said that she has arthitis and he could give her more time but not the quaility life, so we decide that is wasn't fair to let her suffer anymore. Like my wife said it is hard losing a human even harder to lose a pet. What a imprint they make on our lives.

i bet she's running around in a nice grass field playing with my tasha . i'm sorry to hear this and i know how much it hurts .
