you would think with todays technology that there would be a way to recycle all that, after all we pay enough to have them recycled when we get new

they do recycle tires and glass go's back into the highways
the rubber helps hold the highways together in the north and crushed glass is used as a filler..

they also use to use coal ashes mixed with ?? (forgot) to build roads, forgot the reason it was not used more,

and I seem to remember years ago they used tires for a logging road but a lot of steel belted radials were used which caused combustion
