Too many moving parts. Send the design to Japan, they'll simplify it, make it more efficient and reduce cost.
Looks like the Caddilac Northstar engine. Nasty to work on.

my dad had one, his starter went, worse job ive done in a long time right under the intake manifold, I was shocked what a pia.

Google "Audi v6 timing chain problems" &see how many pages you have.Retarded engineering at best.Almost as retarded as the people buying into these technologies.Add to that the ridiculous oil drain intervals as suggested by the manufacturer...

is it any worse than overhead cams driven by a rubber belt :tehe:
I'm probably dating myself, but I would prefer something a little simpler
you have a fighting chance with a carburetor and a distributor :)

yea I like to keep it simple with a pushrod v8 especially the LS series engines put a 6.0 iron block with a big turbo, bigger injectors a little bit of tuning, and will run easily 700+ hp reliably.
