I'm interested in replacing my current equipment and I noticed this dish 1000+, that will pick up 4 sat. I believe it also requires a sw44 switch. Will this dish work with my nano2? Is there something else you would recommend instead of this? Also, if I purchase this, is there anything you recommend that I get with it?

A Dish 1000+ will receive 4sats(3 sat positions) - 129,119,118, & 110. The LNBs are DishPro and it is a DPP44 switch that you would need.

You can buy a 500+ it comes with the bracket for 129....unless you have a fta hd reciever you dont really need the 1000+ buy the 500+ you can always add a lnb for 129......the 500+ will cost you about 129$ at sadoun.com and the dp44 switch you can get it on ebay for about 70 or more. You need to make sure the dp44 comes with the inserter...some take them out...

I also saw a small dish it didn't say DN 500 nor 1000, it says TURBO HD, I thought they were using my Copyright LOL, seriously I saw a DN installation video and the dish had that name on it, btw the video was about DN services.....
