Buzz XRS 4000 mac change

I just got my Buzz XRS 4000 and trying to setup

I get everything done but I can not change MAC

Is there away to change MAC address or do I have to get my guys to change to new Mac

I'm assuming you tried hitting the blue remote button while on the server/portal setup screen ?

I don't have a 4000, but that is what it is on the 3000, even though there is no official notice on screen for it.

I'd be surprised if buzz forgot or overlooked that.

I have a Buzz 3000 and a 3900 yes I tryed the blue button

Emailed Buzz they said they took that option out for now and may replace it later

Thnx for the update. I sure hope they bring it back, because that would be a deal breaker for those who have 1 or 2 subs, but on 3 or 4 TVs around the house.

The big problem right now is most can add new people but they can't change mac on people already in the system one told me I will have to wait witch is fine another gave me a free month with new mac and said he will change it when he can

should have asked for user/pass instead of mac on free month

So with user/pass you don't give your MAC, you just put in user password and your done.

hopefully the buzz team will make the option to change mac address in a future update
it's a nice option to have and the only backwards step I see in the buzz box evolution from previous models

Because it say Buzztv 2 ,this one it say Buzztv 4 so they are 2 different apps but seams like they have to add that in the new update ,this one is like a downgrade ,I have 3 different servers with 3 different Mac addresses C'mon Buzz is just a small add-on to the app

Downgrading is a better option at this time ��

Its the server operators who wanted the function disabled
If buzz activates it fine Other than that live with it!!

Some ideas are being tested on how to properly bring this function back
No dates as to when this will be completed though

Just know that Buzz team knows its a feature that is wanted back and will try to do that.

We can't bring it back

We had a lot of servers threaten to ban us if we do. So we can't afford this to happen.

There are people now who sniff out servers to steal active macs, its a very big problem. They all added device id 1 and 2 to overcome this issue.
