Remote will stop working at times within EPG

Sometimes while in the EPG, the unit will stop responding to the remote.
The only key that does work is the power button.
After it shutsdown and I restart, all is fine.
I have never had this anywhere else ... just the EPG.

Make sure you are not hitting the mouse button by mistake.....this is the button about the up arrow,be careful not to hit that

then the broom three times to clear memory this will close the app then you restart the buzz app.
think this started just after the last update

I have never experienced such but remember the guy saying the only button that responds is the power button so no way home button would work

do you mean the full epg or the channel list/category?
I have had the remote lock up on me here

It has only happened in the full EPG for me and I'm sure that the mouse button has not been pushed.
I have not discovered a pattern yet.

only has happened to me when accidentally pushing kodi button and exiting right away
it goes back to live tv and only power button worx

That was me in response to another users post who said (s)he was experiencing a similar issue.

I've seen it since 211, which was a while back. I've seen it at least 4 or 5 times since then.
I have not watched much TV in the last 2 weeks, so I haven't experienced it since, but since 247 was release about a month ago, I know it happened to me at least once with 247 (so the issue is still there).

I tried to find a way to reproduce it, but could not figure out any particular sequence of events which would trigger it. Obviously not easy to debug, if you can't reproduce it.

And it is nothing to do with mouse button, because simple home button, does return to main screen, where remote works.. and you can either click the broom twice to kill it, or go to settings-Apps->buzttv app and force close it. Then you restart, and it seems fine again. And my power button is set to "power off", not sleep, so every time I turn it on, it is a fresh boot.
