It's true what DU said about those major movie channels on OK3,.... they all have an accurate guide.
The only ones that don't have a guide are the 80's hitz movie channels (action, comedy, horror, drama).
There is no guide for the sky movie channels
But the major stuff is rocking bro...
Maybe it's your EPG grab and the source that is the issue.... I experienced that when I was testing that stuff

Thanks bro...I think I would like to try another premium service for comparative purposes to confirm/eliminate my current provider as the culpprit.I'mopen to suggestions.
At the end of the day, the 3900 is a VERY good unit, & i'm hard to please.

That's okay if you try another premium service and nothing is wrong with having certain standards.
EPG grab with that kind of system was tough sometimes and we tried so much stuff but it was no guarantee. It involves lots of trial and error.
You have a powerhouse in that XPL 3900 unit and the guide should be functioning very well.
Take note of your ISP and some settings that might be affecting you getting the best out of the unit. You are hard to please but the buzz is here to please so check your internet, if using a VPN disconnect and see if that helps to populate the guide.

Thanks again sir.Only effect Nordvpn has is connection speed. No effect onthe guide at all,on or off.I feel I've exhausted my resources, except for trying another provider.I've even tried both units at completely different i.p providers (Bell & Comwave) with no improvement.

Since you are grabbing EPG from a source(s) it still needs that internet connection.
Regardless of what iptv service you use you may experience same results searching for the EPG. I would suggest using a different source for the EPG.
Most importantly, which tuner or you using? Do you have single or dual? This has a huge impact on not only your EPG grab but also your TV experience. Mind you, I used this while in IKS/satellite days but there was an option for iptv but obviously only the free European services were around.
Maybe this conversation should be in another thread lol..... This has gone off course lol
