You said you did an update, which update? Was it a firmware update or an app update where it had alot notes on the screen and you had the option to install now or later?

If it's the latter, did you continuously press the buttons on the remote? S
Doing so could cause the process to be corrupted.

The lights you mention indicate your unit is in standby mode..... When you plugged in unit did it boot, did you see buzz logo screen and did the startup music play? Or did those lights come after you plugged in for a few seconds?

Is your screen blank with these lights on?

Explain the situation by given those details......

Screen Blank, Buzz Box Froze and can not get the box to do a thing, Reset button does nothing to change . I was putting in the Update for Buzz TV. When I did the update, I waited for 15 minutes which I was told the update would take and at 15 min mark I took remote and turned unit off, when I turned back on, the Yellow and Red lights appeared and a day later, still got the same thing

15 minutes? That was bad info It might take 15 seconds and the unit reboots itself
I would try to use the reset hole again Get a strong safety pin and push down and hold it down until the red light goes off
You need good light as it can be tricky finding the right pinhole
Good luck
If nothing works the warranty is good

Sounds like a "send it back" situation.Probably a corrupted/interrupted data transfer.

I never liked or agree with over the network updates. To many glitches and server overloads that cause errors.

Network updates are fine if they are done correctly. Network updates should include checksum files, and no update should start unless the checksums of the files being used for the update, match what is expected. That way, you can confirm integrity of the files prior to starting the update. I used to implement this on many of my old projects back in the days when internet was not very common, and updates were sent to clients over dialup modems :)
Server overloads can be managed by using multiple servers behind a load balancer. And you can easily design them to not accept any new connections, if load is above a certain point which could compromise other active connections.

But any update to something like an OS is risky. During the update process, if it gets interrupted, it can be the end of the device. Not all devices can be recovered by the average user. Some require specialized tools or procedures, which is not easy for many. This is why many of todays computer motherboards have dual BIOS. 1 active, and 1 backup. Just in case one get's corrupted during an update, you can always switch to the other one.

But in this case, the fact that red light stays on, shows that the unit is not powering up.

I wonder who would have told you to wait 15 minutes for the update to complete. Are on you dial-up? If not, you need to confront that person.

But the mistake you made was switching the unit off, should have hit the home button as a precaution.

The warranty is good though, but in future if you have any query or doubts about something with your unit be sure to ask us here first.
