Buzz XPL3000 VOD freezing issue

Hello All,

I have couple of Buzz XPL3000 that are running Android 6 on them and are having buffering issues with VOD. I also have some that have Android 7 installed and they have no issues with VOD.

Can someone please help me and let me know what i can do to help my customers, they are complaining a lot about the buffering issues on VOD. I have tried every possible resource that i could find to figure it out but didnt get any help.

Hopefully someone else is on the same boat as well and has figured out a way on how to fix the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do they have high speed internet?
my internet is slow at times and causes buffering.. :grr:
maybe try their box at ur house, on ur internet and test, just a thought

I found that on a few of my friends 6.0 boxes, you had to change the player to get it working right. Just make sure they know how to change player and all should be good. Have them change it while the movie is on.

Can you check with your friend what player he is using, i have set it to Auto player but it has other options as well. Would greatly appreciate it. Also would changing the player effect Live Tv as well?

i have 3000 with android 6 no issues with vod

Its running the July 27th version. I checked it last night before going to sleep. Version 1.6 (159). As far as changing the player settings goes, i did see that the old default is the main one and when i change it to default it does nothing, however if i change it to secondary the buffering goes away. But the issue is that the settings for secondary player does not stay as default it reverts back to old default when the movie or the show finishes up.

I have also got a response from Buzz tech support and have provided few MAC ID's that are causing the issues, so lets see what they have to say.
