when i first got my dish it came with a baby actuator, i had never planned to use it because i felt the weight of the dish would break it.

the inner tube has to be less than an inch in diameter and it had to be an 18incher, then i got two Von Weise 24" and these inner tubes was bigger than the outter tube on my original actuator. . .THEN i got this other actuator with this stampped acrossed the back. . .

"Thomson-Saginaw Ball Screw Actuator" and man this inner tube is about the size of the Von Weise.

i got it because i wanted a boot and the guy gave me the whole thing becasue he said its seized. . .we'll see about that.

so in you opinion guys. . .which is better? cant seem to find any info online about the make up of the Thomson.

man, from the price i can see that lol lol

i pulled the jack down. . .found heaps of gunk in the motor which i believe came from the brushes, i gave it a quick clean not wantin to spend to much time on it if its not working. . .

hooked it up today and it works :D. . .
so this will be my main jack, i will pull it completely down now and chk whats needed and rebuild both that and the other Von Weise.
