Dreamlink t5 - on and off tv screen issue

the unit boots up and shows channel number on front of the unit.

the tv screen will show 2 seconds of video, then go blank for 3 seconds and back to 2 seconds of video..

the channel still remains lite so unit doesnt appear to be shutting down..

if I attach laptop to dvi cable to tv, its stays stable picture so cable and tv are good.

Is there a way to hard boot the unit to reset or any other options that we know of????

i had a HDMI cable doing that with my dreamlink t5 yet the cable worked ok with other receivers , cable works ok with the iptv yet it come in and out with dreamlink , got a different HDMI cable now dreamlink works ok .
before getting a new cable try the video RCA cable or component cable , if it works ok then get a different HDMI cable

ok.. found the issue.. it was with the hdmi cable..

the cat had pulled it partly out of its socket in the tv..

but strangely enough the laptop worked with the cable the way it was..

anyway... back up and running..
