There is no way for anyone to tell how to adjust your dish, you will have to go up to the dish with a signal finder or a small tv and your receiver and make small adjustments to your dish till you get the signal back.

If it only needs adjustment you need to go up in the roof with your signal finder and fine tune your dish until you get a good signal...you dont need to take your receiver up in theroof leave it inside

at one time, I used a device called the wifeometer. This device has many issues making it somewhat unreliably irritable.

However, there is an app that allows you to remote view a desktop from your phone. Power up skpe on your laptop, put the camera on test , place it in front of the tv and watch your signal meter on your phone on the roof. Did this many times when i did not have a box that had this very nice feature of beep on signal option that all boxes should have.....along with blindscan.
because, Lord knows that if a person connected a simple $13 walmart fm transmitter to the audio out of thier box and then kept an fm radio with them that this would be a simple job. Well, we cant have that...Good Lord, blind scan, beep on signal option, its just too much for most.
Be creative, there are ways to do it.
by the way, if you do have that beep on signal...I didnt see that in the thread, fm transmitter idea works great.

Or use some FRS radios or phones and get someone to read signal to you when adjusting. After you check dishpointer for heading. Or download the android app so you can see heading.
