T4 stuck on radio mode

My buddys T4 is stuck on radio mode . looking at the remote on the bottom middle button tvrad does nothing but make the tv image blink . i tried all the buttons but nothing changes it back to tv mode. remote works fine I can get into menu change options and sat info with no problem .What am i missing here ?

I read that fine thanks I guess I have to be specific Does it work when you press the tv/radio button?

yes its make the guitar image blink for a quick second

It possible either the button is stuck and needs cleaning or your ird sensor is toast
Before you do anything have you done a factory set? and re-input your info?

no I have not done a factory reset . I checked that button on the remote and all the others they work on the camera and on the tv screen . would a factory reset bring it back the sat side or would still come up reset on the radio side ?

usually its dirt of some sort in the remote.

ok update , got it back on the tv side . First did a factory set and it stayed on the radio side , once I delete all the channels and re scanned it came back to the tv side after the scan automatically. I did try the radio/tv button and it works just fine. all is good thanks nobodyspecial

actually deleting all channels might have worked without the factory set
