Hey guys my question is I have a mxq box running kitkat 4.42 1 gb ram 8 rom and i only run kodi and it reboots and its annoying! Anything I can do to fix this or is the box to old? I clear the cache each time I use it too! thanks

there are alot of options you could use one of my fav is terrarium tv its an app so you don't need kodi it works great the newest one is add free, another app is teatv and livenet tv are all options. if you are still wanting kodi there is a updated kodi on the mygica update you can put that on any 4.4 and above it makes it like kodi 17.6 i believe maybe 17.3 not sure but you can put all the newest builds on.
a great build for those lower end models is the supreme build nice and light and updates nicely.

ok thanks the kodi i have is a fork and after like 20 minutes the whole box reboots so is it a kodi thing? I use to run iptv with perfect perfect player and it did the same so is it the apps or the box?

i would think if its turning off it might be a heat issue, are you using the correct plug i ran into a problem with a plug that blew the mxIII i had so be careful. i'd do a factory default a couple times and go from there.

ya everything is correct or i will do a factory reset than the box does get home from underneath

still the same is it the amount of rom with only 8 not enough

i put an ice pack in a zip lock bag and put box on top to see if its doing it because it overheats

get a laptop cooler if its seems to be that bad and put it under it
