I have been having issues with site off and on for a few days
page's very slow to load off and on
pm's taking long time to send and getting a lot of double pm's from users
they say it hung on them so they did not know if it sent or not

Can you try clearing your cache and cookies? Try from a different browser. Try from incognito mode. Does that change anything?

I get it in many browsers fire fox cleaned and tor and on mobile devices (cell)
its not to bad and only happens a few times a day over last few days nothing I cant live with :)

Seems to be in good shape after that last long outage a few days ago. Prior to that was getting 404 and 500 also. Loading fast and moving well for the last day or so.

Thanks. The site feels pretty snappy today. I click on "Activity Stream" to test. The search queries are the most CPU load intensive. If that gets returned quickly, the site is in pretty good shape.

I'm trying to diagnose why some people are having a hard time with the site. The site is the fastest it has ever been in a long time (for me at least). If it is running slow for you, click New Posts and tell me what it says in the upper right (e.g. Search took 0.13 seconds).

Also, PM the results of "traceroute www.satfix.to" for those on Mac or "tracert www.satfix.to" for those on PC.

Forum refresh rate is fast and all functions like pm's and the search work well, the one thing i noticed that has changed is....

When you click on new post everything comes up fine but if you post in, or click on a post in any thread, once you go to new post again that thread does not appear.

Like this post....once its entered it won't show as new post on my screen

Hopefully that made sense.

Ok , did my research tonight and once you read a post in "new post" it disappears from the new posts...like I said I don't like it and Over the years I've seen many sites that did this but I didn't like the option and that's all it is an option. maybe we need to start a poll and see who likes what?

Have you tried clicking "What's New?" at the top? That should get you everything you are looking for.

This is exactly what i do.It's good when your reading a few pages if you leave the page open and go to another page, when you come back to the page it automatically refreshes with the new posts

There were some site code changes a couple of days ago. I just cleared all file caches from DNS and CDN providers. Please clear your cache in Firefox - logout and login. Do the same issues exist?
