View Full Version : signal issues
I'm having the same issue only with 110/119 with 40-55% signal. 82/91 has 95-98% signal. I've tried another power supply from an older Dreamlink original and the same numbers? Any thoughts before I go out to purchase another power supply?

I doubt it power supply if 82/91 is good
post more info on your setup
Not sure if this is the information your asking but I have 2 dishes 1 for 110/119 other 82/91. It operates 2 tvs 1 Dreamlink T5 on 1 tv and 1 original Dreamlink on another tv. Last year when I had the second tv hooked up my signal was around 75-85 range on dish. Bev was always 90-97 range.

just to confirm you have all 4 sats going to 2 tvs? what kind of lnbs?
what type of switches?
Yes I have all 4 going to 2 tvs. I'm not sure of the lnbs or switches as I had it installed professional. My signal was fine until recently as I stated earlier. As mentioned only on 110/119.

Photos of your equipment (Dish with LNB's, switches) would help us a bit, and what happened to the second receiver? Why was it disconnected? Can you re-connect it?
If your trying to run 4 LNB's with a 4x4 switch (4 LNB's in, 2 (or more) receivers out) that does not have it's own power supply, then you could have fried something......More info on your setup will help.
Thanks for your reply and help. The 2nd receiver is still hooked up. It was never disconnected. My signal issue is only with 110/119. On the weekend I will climb up a ladder and take some pictures if required. From memory my set up is a 18 inch dish that runs 110/119 too 2 tvs and a 24 inch dish that runs 82/91 to both tvs. The signal strength was no issue until recently with 110/119. No issues with 82/91.Any suggestions would be appreciated? Could it be a power supply issue?

OK, but how are the signals combined to the TV, you need some sort of Diseqc switch, it needs to be one (or combination of several switches) that can send all 4 signals to the two receivers at once.
We will wait for more info.
This box died yesterday. It owes me nothing but now I'm looking for a new box can anyone make a recommendation?

Dreamlink t5 is a great choice imho.
Thanks for your reply. It was a great unit but I'm wondering if the T6 would be a better replacement box or are there any other combo boxes that offer FTA as well as IPTV?

I agree, my T5 is on 7/24 and has been working great for years - since they first came on the market.
Dreamlink t5 is a great choice imho.
