If the file is for the 3500 model then it is likely is just about the same as the 2500/2700 model code and not of any real use for the 9200. If you look at how the thread on modifying 9200 code tried to do the work to do IKS, it will be just about the same. And as the 9200 does not do turbo FEC AFAIK the issue is pretty much moot--you could only do a single BEV bird at this point. The topic had a chance of happening back when the "modify" thread was started, now it is dead and gone--no hope. Now, you could try to get DSS audio on the box, but that is likely only on SD channels and they go away at the start of 2019, so pretty much no point of trying to do that either (though HD channels might have audio open and if you have Ka band LNB then an mpeg4 HD might be of use there, still you have to have an active coder base to do mods and we have seen that there is no such base for the 9200 or 9500 model)

pansat 9200 does do turbo with the 8PSK MODULE BOARD installed in it because i have a pansat 9200hd with the 8PSK board in it and this bin worked for about 4 days last HD-9200BL_pvr_081214_9203

Then go back to the "modify" thread and do all the programming to get the box running--all the info needed is spelled out in the thread to do coolsat 4000 (and pansat 2500/2700) type IKS through the serial port so no need to reverse engineer the 3500's code, just read the English and test as needed.

If that file worked for four days then what was the reason it stopped working

this is for Rick 2933 (pansat 9200 does do turbo with the 8PSK MODULE BOARD installed in it because i have a pansat 9200hd with the 8PSK board in it and this bin worked for about 4 days last HD-9200BL_pvr_081214_9203 ) i checked the files i have for the 9200 and the file you posted i do not have HD_9200BL_081214_9203 to test would you care to post it here for the rest of us to look at? i did look around some and could not find it, which is not surprising most sites have dumped those old files to free up space, thanks

i still have that file but with no modes done to it and yeah rick post the scripts you use maybe someone could figure out what went wrong or why it stopped working

would you mind posting that file here, and the only person i know of that does programing is JVVH 5897 and while he gives real good hints on what to do, programing is not something i understand or can do and i did try, some time ago Rick posted all the other bin files for the 9200 but missed this one, i did use the 3500 for iks a long time ago, Japan something then they disappeared, i was not going to sit in front of my computer to watch tv, i sit here to long as is, Thanks

As BL never adopted IKS before pansat was shutdown by law suit, my guess is that no unmodified BL file will do IKS and as posted the file name only shows BL as author with no mods--so I'm guessing that the file did not ever do IKS and will not if you ever find it.

looked at some of my old files, remembered that the pansats used RQ-SSP to connect to the servers, for some forgotten reason that kind of died, maybe the folks running the servers did not like it or maybe others wanted to sell new boxes with their code in them, more than likely the lawsuit had something to do with it. but for a short time these receivers the 2500 & 3500 did do iks. also have a note that Pansat and Coolsat used the same files during that time. Also linkbox was the replacement for the pansats, just a name change?

i don't think the linkbox hd use the same processor and that's a problem
example linkbox 8000hd CPU: Ali M3606 (398MHz),Dual High performance 32bit CPU
Flash Memory: 4 Mbyte

i was thinking that the linkbox was made by those that made the pansat, just that they changed the name and of course the chip,

Yes they are made by the same company just a name change because of the lawsuit and off course a different processor

Well, I took a look at the file posted in the file section fro 9200 and I don's see any IKS strings--well, no obvious ones anyway. But the way to test would be to load it to a box and see if it locks into all the DN and BEV sats and if you get some output on the serial port. You might have to browse the menu system to find a spot to turn on IKS if there is one.
