The DL100 module blew in my Dreamlink T4 during a storm the other day. So I pulled out my Dreamlink HD and plugged in my server info. It says server can't connect. I tried another Dreamlink HD and I get the same error. So I plugged in my T4 to check the server settings and of course all I can see is the server which I only have one using a 4 to start. So I hit connect and it connects right away. I know I entered it right in both units. Is there something with the HD that can cause this trouble? Is there a way to pull the server information from a Dreamlink?

Ah crap. I have another T4 running at my parents. I'm going to pull the board out of there's and install it in the unit that I can't get the info from and give it to them. Then I'll use their info on the HD model and see if it works. What a pain. eBay sellers want a lot for the modules too.

You might be able to dump the info to USB as part of the channel list, but the data in that list is all encrypted--the encryption type seems to be similar to the one used for the make2dream and I could provide info on that (took apart the code for the program) but I'm guessing they use a different key and I don't have that. You could start a project to try to figure out some of this stuff, or never buy DL boxes until they offer a way to get into channel lists--but I'm guessing that will not happen.
