Hi,

Someone gave me a Satvision SF-3000 meter. Nice looking sturdy meter.

I have done a lot of goggling and have also found SF-3000E and SF-3000S models that support diseqc commands.

Can anyone tell me the correct website to download firmware for this beast? I would like to get diseqc working if I can, the SF-3000 might no have the same hardware as the 3000E and 3000S.

Or if anyone has the firmware can you post it?

TIA Jets

In my googling, I found that the same model goes by a couple of diff brands and all seem to be the same device. But nowhere do I find any sw for them other than that required to edit the satellite list (there did seem to be some links to a download of what might have been sw but they did not get to active pages, so either not real sites or sites that are long gone--the meter is 10 years old at this point I think). Maybe if you figure out how to download the sw FROM the gizmo and post that then something might be done to edit the sw. But, just off hand, I would guess it would be easier to add on an experimenter's board programmed to output the sw cmd sequences. Or just use an FTA box to do the switching needed and have the meter on a DC blocked line out from a splitter.
