Will this unit work with any issues currently for IKS? satellite linkbox 8000HD plus? Any pros and cons? My Jynxbox tuner crapped out again, so I am at the point of changing units, I have gone thru to many tuners on my V2 Jynxbox.

IKS really does not change in how it works at the receiver end. The old posts here should tell you all you need to know.
As for the Jynx box and tuner failure--I think you could have swapped to Az Link sw and the box would have run cooler and had lees issues.

Sounds good. Just when you know nothing about a unit, I like to ask questions.

If you keep blowing out tuners I have some questions, how many LNB's and switches are you running and what type(s), and are you using any external DC power injectors?

Hello, Terryl
I power off my unit every night, unit is in an cooler basement, no electronics near it. I bought the last tuner in April last year. So that tuner survived just under one year. My unit is a V2. I am using a 33" motorised dish, with the QPH-031 Invacom. Dish and LNB, are like ten years old.

Lnb only one. Invacom, mentioned above.

Ahh sorry my internet is slow right now with this storm running through, did not see that post.

OK on the LNB, Invacom is a good one, I like their new fiber optic one, the bad thing about it is that you need a DC power supply at the dish for it to work, but you can go several hundred feet or more with out loss.

Now you say your using a motor and the system is about ten years old, is the motor also ten? If so it may be the cause for blowing the tuners, it could be pulsing the power supply as it's getting old and the internal lubrication is getting hard.

Motor is a HH90 Stab, at least 6 years old.
