HELP for iPhone 7 plus

OK this one is beyond me.

I need help with setting up Facebook for a new iPhone 7 plus, my old phone was an iPhone 6, now I'm trying to setup Facebook on the new one, but cant get it to go right, all it wants to do is setup a new account, I don't want to do this.....

I want the same Facebook account on the new phone, not an new account.

I have been all over the place trying to do this and I'm about ready to chuck this thing in the lake.


Help me obwankenobi your my only hope.

why not use iTunes to make a backup of your iPhone 6 and then set up the 7 plus with the backup and boom everything is on your new phone all your apps and contacts and such
i think it will even have your login saved from your old one if you had facebook on it

Been there, done that, everything came over but the Facebook stuff, it wanted to start a new account.

Follow through with the new account set up using your current info. You may get a prompt saying the account already exists, then asks you if you want to download the information. Agree to it.
