My HD Channels lose the Sound While my SD Channels Don't ???!!

Hi all,

Thanks for your time and Happy New Year to you :)

My SV 8000 HD receiver intermittently loses the sound ONLY when HD channels are on and then sound comes back and then goes out.....while watching SD channels the sound NEVER goes out ?!!

any ideas why?

I suggest you try changing your audio settings from dolby digital to pcm, or vice versa to see if anything changes.
