My niegbour had 6 lnbs. This was in service for almost a year and working. NOw getting unknown network on eacch LNBs.
Two Diseqc and one sw21 config. Took all the switches out of the line, Only hooked up one Lnb.
Did factory reset and put Dreamlink_T5_0106_0217P.bin. Factory reset again, Still getting unknown network. Getting blue signal though.
Hookedup old Satzen 500 and single lnb,s signal is known. Any idea what is the problem with this T5?

Thanks

Try reseating the module. Unknown network has been fixed by replacing module

Well, I have no real idea, but the ability of an FTA box to identify the network depends on the programming inside the box being able to identify the stream it gets from the bird. There are a couple of packets that come in to aid stream identification (see wiki entry for MPEG transport stream) CAT, PAT and NIT are the ones that come to my mind most for network identity.
It is not unusual for the code in a box to take the data from the table packets and use a look-up scheme to show you what the network ID is. It could be that all the streams have changed since the file code you are using came out and the look-up no longer gets the info it needs to match the stream to an entry.

Thank you very much. Re-seat didn't worked. Replace worked. What would you suggest from not happening again.
This module has heat sink. It looks like just a water proof cubic black foam that stick to the main chip and when you put the cover on, it also make a contact to the cover to dissipate the heat.

power inserter has nothing to do with this correct?

You could get a laptop cooler if you want, keep it in an open space and you can put it on something so there is more circulation underneath
