Hello guys, I was trying to aim the dish to 30 west Hispasat knowing is almost impossible because from 15w to almost 60west I got bamboos a lot taller then my house, so I tried and when sat finder indicated me signal was present I did a Blind Scan, nothing I got is from Hispasat, I tried looking at lyngsat dot com but can't find a match. Weird thing is, aiming to that direction where is a wall of bamboos and I got those TP with 98%quality on my CW700...................

I looked at lyngsat and came up empty, I don't know what sat you pulled in Turbo but I would really like to know.

Best I can tell is you hit Intelsat 903 at 34.5°W
All the stations you listed are part of a CanalSat Caraïbes package

The TP is pretty close but it is H where you posted V

Good job Andy, wish I had a universal lnb because that's where my big boys would be aiming. As for the polarity, pansat3500 is infamous for duplicating tp on both polarities, especially c band.

Just in case, I forgot to mention this is all KU, I don't have C Band LNB yet. I used a Fortec Star quad universal 0.3db a 4.5' feet dish. a friend of mine found the TP but in a weird location 13E..............

Impossible Turbo, in order to get Hotbird at 13E you need to be in Europe, North Africa or Middle East. My favourite sat position along with Astra at 28.2E when I lived in Greece.

I just had a look at the footprint for Intelsat 903 at 34.5w and your right in it on spot2 part of the footprint. You may even be able to scan in other tp as well. It's one of 3 c band sats that I don't pull in with my bud.

Yes, he knows and I know is impossible, but the TP number is a match. that is what he meant. OK back to 34.5west, I see all the channels are encrypted with mediaG weird thing my CW700 has the latest file for AMZ 61west and one of those channels was open and in a fraction of a second it went to scramble...............amz files are for N2, wonder how it was working?

I was checking with satbeams dot com, and there is a c band beam that hits USA............now I know why I was getting that sat with 98% quality, I never seeing CW700 at 98% quality before....................maybe I didn't pull more TP because skew was set for Hispasat, I'll try again today with the 34.5 skew but then again why bother all channels are encrypted..............

I know there is a tp for North America but it's dvb-s2, when I invest in my new hd stb I'll be able to pick it up. If you scan in any more Turbo, keep us updated, I'm curious.

OK bud, after today's test, today I am aiming to 95west KU channels not the DTV Latin, those are not good for an FTA receiver, I am after TP11780 H 20760 3/4 and 12050 H 20,000 3/4, once I hit this birdie I will re aim to 34.5 and let you know what I get from there. OK
I got no HD receiver but I'll let you know what I get with CW700 and Pansat 3500

Awesome find Turbo, I don't know anybody on any sat site that has documented findings at 34.5w, really getting the itch for a universal lnb even though the sat isn't in my footprint.

Sorry Costa I went right over this replay, I just saw it today, I am not a religious kind of guy like my mom, she washes TBN all week long, I can't, I have to give my brain a variety between God and entertainment, lol I don't know Chinese but have a few friends owner of a Chinese restaurant and they asked me if in those FTA sats are free Chinese channels, so I can kill 2 birdies at the same time, 1 I do the test wish I love to do and then report back with info and photos and 2nd birdie I can show them the channels and if they like it I earned that installation.................lol good point asking of my Chinese......I alredy showed then a few channels from 97west.............
