You have two single DP pro LNB's?

And the DPP44 switch is on it's own coax with out the receiver connected to the DC power inserter.....Right?

If so then the system should be working fine, it's not raining or snowing right now is it?

Thats right . I should mention it happens if I'm on a sat 92 channel and switch to a sat 82 Channel and vice versa its fine sometimes and other times "bad or no signal" if i power off the unit with the remote and back on the signal comes back. I also running a sonicview hd and it works fine.

I think i found my problem it doesn't like my ecoda 22khz switch removed the switch and seems to be working.

I had dish on one side and bell on the other. Can someone recommend a 22khz switch for the dreamlink t5?? or can I place sw21 switch instant of 22khz switch

I think you would have issues with the internal diseq running to the sw21 Other will chime in

The Dreamlink's and other brands, (the newer receivers) i have found, Do Not have the Power to
operate/run all the equipment needed these Days, It helps some when you have more than one rec. powering things.

Did a test on a 3 eye directv LNB (1 Ku and two Ka band waveguides as far as I can tell, spaced 2.5 degrees apart), it runs at 0.14 amp for a while just like an older standard two port Ku band directv LNB but then goes to 0.5 amp for a while before going back to 0.15 or so. Just a note to suggest the drive required by one prov LNB. Think the switch is internal in these gizmos and likely a diseqc variant but more than one LNB can be active as the bands used are stacked rather than use a single 500 MHz band.

As for the 2nd prev poster: if the box runs OK for a while and then does not, then the issue is likely something that changes--the temperature is changing widely so it could be that, could be an issue with cables getting moisture inside them or just getting looser connection with temperature changes.
