I didn't get a chance to weigh in on last week's discussion.

I'm perfectly content to go along with the majority consensus - whatever it ends up being, but since you asked my opinion...

I work a full time job and I'm working on two shows (the equivalent of working two part time jobs on top of my full time job). I live alone so all of the cooking and cleaning and running of errands must be done by me.

It's after 11pm on Wednesday night. All I want to do is sleep, but I take the extra 20-30 minutes it takes me to get in my picks and points because that is what is expected of me, and that is what is fair to everyone else who partakes in the pool.

Very often I think, "I'll just pick tomorrow night's game and do the rest on Saturday when I have a little more time." But my conscience always gets the better of me. It just doesn't seem fair to do it that way.

So I guess what I'm saying is, I put in the extra effort to get everything done before Thursday's game. I would expect all other participants to do the same. (With the allowance that there are occasional exceptions - emergencies, etc. that can be worked out privately with the Pool Admins.)

Just an observation. This is why I don't bet real money on the NFL. The over/under on this game was 44 or 45, depending on the book. The game was 36 to 8 (44) with a few minutes to play...then somehow...the Jags, who hadn't shown much offense all night, score 2 touchdowns in those last few minutes as the Titans decided they were not going to play much defense in those last few minutes. As Sherlock Holmes would say, "Curious my dear fellow". Anyone still believe this product isn't controlled?
