I just want to get everyone's thoughts on a matter of very slight concern. While picking just the Thursday Night Game is allowed, most of the players that are doing this are not posting the total points for the week scores which, however insignificant this sounds, does technically give them somewhat of an advantage knowing one of the game's scores especially if what we think should be a high scoring game turns out to be very low scoring or vice versa. So, I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on this and if we should have to post the total points along with the game pick, or should we just keep it as it is? Please, sound off :)

How many times has the week been won on points ,,, by someone who only posted Thursday's game and then came back and posted the rest of the games at a later date?

None of the 6 winners thus far have used or taken any advantage of late posting

It's understood that work interferes with Thursday nights pick, which is why it's allowed

What happens to dumb chits like me who keep missing
Thursday nights game? That would put me out for the
week. This is my busy time of year when I make most
of my anual income. I just don't have time sometimes.
Besides we're talking about one game's points out of 13
to 16 games. Not much of an advantage that I can see.
Also I don't see a problem with people posting it latter
in the week since I can't think of one time when I was
helping out with the pool that anyone who posted their
points late won on points. For that matter I don't recall
anyone missing Thursday nights pick and winning the
week. JMO

As far as picking the total score for the week - I don't think it matters when - but I'll go for whatever the rest decide
I don't get into football mood until Saturday or Sunday - then I get a little interested - the rest of the week too much else going on LOL

Just a question. If you can pick and post the Thursday game, how much of an effort is it to post two numbers along with it? Like Pr. Elite stated, "This isn't rocket science" :) and it wouldn't put you out of it, you'd just have 0s as points predictions if it went to the tiebreakers.

Perfect example of the ineptitude of some of today's players...and coaches! Too many teams waters down the sport to where players that wouldn't have been playing years ago are making huge amounts of money and making plays (or not making plays) that high schoolers can make. It's happened in football, baseball, hockey and basketball. Dempsey and Groza wouldn't miss chip shot field goals! Bring back the straight on field goal kicker for short yardage field goals! :)
