Tier Help

I have a 211 and am having a hard time with tiers. I have custom tiers loaded into rq but for some reason no matter what I try, the same channels keep appearing. It doesn't matter what tier is in the config file or not. My guess is if I could get the tiers loaded into the bin that I might have better luck but I am not sure. Any suggestions?

I've just finished creating/designing a freeware util that will make configuring and running rq-echo-client for windows much simpler and easier for most people out there that have ever had difficulties using it or working with it.

This frontend util will allow you to configure all the required settings to get you connected to whatever IKS server your wanting to connect to including features such as a tier generator that will allow you to choose dish or bev tiers to patch to the image file you intend on using with rq-echo-client along with creating of custom tiers for your own personal usage.

We've added in the ability to change,set,extract IRD Marriage information from image files as well.

The tier list I sent you is working & current for 211's.Are you sure you have the config file set to use your tier data rather than the card bin???

Yes, I set the config file to 1, to load custom tiers....I tried 0 as well to load tiers from bin and its the exact same channels.....I even tried 2 for server side tiers and still get exact same channels....... also, I noticed that when I select 1 for custom tiers, when the program is loaded, you can see the actual custom tiers loading up on MS dos looking prompt....... but when I choose 0 you can't see the tiers loading up.... which would make sense..... what doesn't make sense to me is that the channel list is the same regardless of tier selection...... all ppv and porn shows order option..... only a handful of 100s are viewable..... the rest just say programming not authorized.... half of the 300s come in, the rest say programming unauthorized.... and even less of the 200s.....noof I really appreciate you sending the tier list.... still stuck though......I do have some tier apps but it's been over 5 years since I used them....I have apps like tier works, rom explorer Nagra edit, bin checker etc.... but can't remember how to use them...I haven't touched them since, plastic days and ISO programmers etc.

I can send a tier list when I get home tonight.My bin won't do you any good:won't match your receiver data.

I know this post is a bit old but I am missing some ch on a vip722 and I am pretty sure its tier related. One of the missing channels is velocity which is in the clear so should always work. These channels have been missing a really long time. I just recently decided to search for tier related threads and found this.

The Noof - is your bin still working well and do you get velocity? if yes would you be willing to please send me your bin? I also have bin cloner so I can change it to work on my ird no problem
