T4 model 2015 with DL200 module receiver question

I 've a chance to buy a Dreamlink T4 model 2015 with DL200 module receiver for a good deal
I was just wondering would it req'd the 8psk turbo module in order to get true HD channel
from 82 north ? What is the difference between the 2 module above?

the dl200 will give u hd as long as you've got the latest firmware on the T4

Hi, did the dl200 work out for u and the Dreamlink T4? I have a T4 right now and was told that it was HD but after receiving it, I found it is not and I can't return it so I want to get HD programming without getting a new both and wanted to know how it worked out for you.

I put a dl200 module in my t4 and it worked out great.

This T4 receiver hasnt been used in about 3-4 years so would the best thing to be just load the last T4 file on it? Well, factory reset, load file, factory reset again, scan channels? Its been quite some time since doing one of these.....lol
Forgot, does it need the dl100 or dl200 to run at the moment if using for Bev and just get SD channels?

no you dont need the board to get the sd on 91 but you do need the latest file
The latest file is what allowed the box to get hd

you have to scan 91 in too,there are hd on 91
Also you will have to scan in the channels when there is a full hockey schedule as the tps are not active until a hour or so before game time

Also make note of the arrow on the module:make sure it faces the REAR of the stb.It fits either way,but only works when correctly oriented.

Once you have everything scanned in save your channel data to usb
If you have to do a factory set you can just load back to dreamlink

Okay, I got the board today but the heat sink came off. Its spongy and sticky (like in the above photo) so do I just place it back on the board where its supposed to go? I assume it came off during shipping and being cold outside. Just want to make sure of this before I install it that there isnt a certain way its supposed to go.

Doesn't matter which way it goes, all it is to transfer Heat away from board/etc. (Heatsink)

We used to glue them to the cover before shipping them out

No glue bro...the black external cover holds it in place.This is true only if the hd module has a finned heat sink on it.There will be a slight interference between the black block heatsink & the cover that holds it down.They work great:put your finger on the cover over the sink & you will feel the heat.
