Hello all,
My friend lives in the north east part of the states and was always able to get the 82 off a 33 inch pan. As of the last month all channels aren't coming in due to a weak signal. He figured it was his box so he tried a different fta box and got the same result. Has the footprint for the 82 changed recently?

Are there switches in the set up? If not could be faulty lnb or dish moved. Has he tried changing the TP?
More information about the set up such as lnbs, switches, would help.

THanks for all of the feedback.
He has not tried to adjust any tp's as everything has been working fine for nearly a year with his current tp setup.
He has a 33 inch ROC dish with lnbs all on one bracket. He only uses one of those lnbs at it's pointed to get 82.
There aren't any switches involved. He runs his receiver (cloned jynxbox) directly to the dish. He even tried his dreamlink and got the same results.

Does 'your friend' have a clear line of sight or are there trees that maybe have grown in a years time? If swapping lnb does not work then Sat dish has moved slightly or something is hindering the signal (trees, building, etc)

My friend just dusted off the jynxbox and tried again. He went outside and adjusted the dish and started getting signal strength in the 70s. After about 30 minutes he looses signal. When he turns the jynxbox off for a few hours and turn it back on..the signal come right back into he 70s.......after about 30 minutes or so, signal goes away again.... this time he turned the switch off and right back on and the signal came back in the 70s......only this time after about 10 minutes the signal dropped again...... do you guys think it's more of a dish issue or jynxbox issue? He has a v3 or v4 clone...can't remember which kind it was.

He replaced the jb 200 with a new one and now his signal qualities are strong.....however one problem...when he scans he keeps getting skip on the tp....and no channels come in...he tried taking out the jb 200 and putting it in slot 2. When he puts it in slot 2, he doesn't get any signal at all.....when he put it back in slot 1, the signal is strong....any ideas of why he keeps getting skipped?

I would suspect that the transponders need to be edited to 21500 turbo 8psk 2/3 to reflect the changes previously made by Dish
