Last week, Tristar head coach Firas Zahabi stated he believes a "GSP" comeback is inevitable, and now it's Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend Renzo Gracie backing up that sentiment.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour" on Monday, Gracie had no doubt that a UFC return is in the cards for St-Pierre.

"He's coming back for sure. That boy, the best thing he does in life is fighting," said Gracie. "Look for how long he's been a champion. He's overcome so many obstacles, many things that people don't know. Georges used to come from Canada, leaving 4, 4:30 in the morning, come to New York by bus, train the whole day and leave at night. Sometimes two or three times a week.

"A champion is not just born, he's forged into it and Georges has all the tools to become a champion again. And for sure he’s looking for it, he's now 100 percent healthy, he's in unbelievable shape and for sure, he will be announcing soon he'll be back in the game."

Gracie's working relationship with the former welterweight champion dates back to 2006, when St-Pierre consulted Gracie prior to St-Pierre's fight with grappling expert B.J. Penn at UFC 58. The two have been close since.

When asked who St-Pierre would fight should he compete again, Gracie replied with supreme confidence that St-Pierre is ready for the toughest challenges even though he hasn't fought in over two years.
"Whoever's the champion, I think," said Gracie. "He deserves it, he's earned it throughout his life's work a straight shot to the champ, so whoever the champion is, at that weight division, for sure Georges is coming after him."

GSP got the beats on both of his last two fights .....
He was convinced fighters were juiced and so he quit the sport
At 34 ,, he has a legitimate chance of a return but he should have to start from the bottom
and fight his way up as there are plenty of fighters in the walterweight division awaiting their
chance at the belt.

He may have gotten a bit beat up in his last two fights but who was the winner????
History may never make up its mind as to who is the greatest mixed martial artist ever, Georges St-Pierre will surely be in consideration. He needs to fight Hendricks again.....for sure and get rid of that last split decision...
