Channels on sat 119

I'm not convinced I'm getting the total amount of channel on that Satellite . Only getting approx 120 channels . Some Tp say : failed . And how do I get rid of the $ sign in front of the channels .

Check to see if failed channels on 119 are 20000Hz modulation. If so, they are no longer valid on most TPs with the change to 21500 and 8PSK. A couple of the TPs are still 20000Hz. You cannot get rid of the $ sign unfortunately.

No non spot beam TPs are 20000 SR anymore as of today on sats 110/119/129... scan ALL TPs at 21500 SR 2/3 FEC 8PSK now... MPEG4 migration is complete...

I've got 2 satellites ( 110 /119 ) selected , with LNB 11250 and I can't lock on to any transponders ( 100 + ) on those satellites . I've tried them direct or through my switch with no changes . All it says on the screen is transponder failed . I suspect there is something wrong with the receiver .

when scanning you will see several failed and several OK
that's normal
the last file has the transponders but you may need to rescan
make sure you have latest file loaded
delete all ch's(menu/channels/delete channel/delete all
then rescan using multi satellite search(menu/installation/sat set up/multi sat search
make sure scan option is all
scan channel tv+radio
network search yes
scan mode normal
click start scan
this should scan all your selected sats and all transponders

forgot to say above
the new 21500 transponders will only show a signal and no lock
you can go to sat 119(echo14) transponder 12224 V 20000 to see a lock at bottom right
on echo 10/11(110) transponder 12268 H 20000 will show you a lock on
if you have lock on both just use the above info to scan

Those TPs are spot beams so I do not know if all areas receive them

By latest file your talking about v742 , right . But I'm only getting approx 100 + channels while it should in the 900 + channels .

yes 742 is latest file
always reboot with rear switch after loading any file
make sure network search is on when you scan

maybe post your Dish set up or settings

I only receive 119/110
using a dishpro twin lnb
my settings are
Echo 14
LNB Freq Dishpro(11250)
DiSEq 1.0 Port 1
DiSEq 1.1 disable
22K off
Polarity is auto
multi sw none
motor disable

Echo 10/11 are exact same except
Port is 2

should scan around 1200 ch's

What do you mean by network search ? I can't get any signal on LNB 11250 . I'm run normal 18" dish with normal LNB circular

Yes ............ I've tried it with and without , no changes . Do I have to have that module installed in order to lock on to that LNB ( 11250 ) and 21500 ks/s . I'm trying to get as much informations as I can . I.ve send that receiver ( linkbox) back to my seller , as I can't dial in those satelittes .

if you have 2 dishes for 119 and 110 and using a DiSeq switch
the DP settings I posted above should work as long as you use 119 on port 1 and 110 on 2

I am assuming you have used these dishes before?

you will need the ls500 module to get a signal on the 21500 transponders

Maybe that's my problem then ( LS500 ) as I was getting nothing on 21500 transponders . Yes I have used those dish before with a Kbox . Why are you saying 119 on port 1 and 110 on port 2 , and not the other way around ? I have tryed those dish direct without the switch , with no changes .
