Got another Freebie 10 Foot spun aluminum, Button Hook Satellite dish, I never had a Button Hook dish or a Solid BUD before & have heard Mix reviews on Button Hooks . But i still think it is a Great find.
Now i will be able to have a His & Her's Set Up as my Wife watches the 4DTV most of the time.

It has a 24 inch Von Weise actuator that i have tested & is working Great, now i will start re painting & putting it all back together & hope to be able to put a pole in the ground soon & get this thing up & running.

It was made in Concord Ont. By York Metal Spinning. I was told it was a display model for a company that sold Commercial Grade Dishes. I measured it & it is Not a 10 footer but is 9 foot 5 inches. It was probably 10 feet before they made the outside lip on it. It also takes a 6 inch pole. Maybe that's why when i try to google the LNBF i do not get any info or pictures on it.

Just to add that the guy i got the dish from told me that it was a stationary dish when he got it & he had to Mod the polar mount so it would move & add a actuator to it.

That's cool I am curious to know how the reception is compared to a mesh 10' dish.

I have heard a 10 foot Solid is like having a 12 foot mesh, i am just glad i got it before some one got it just for Scrap aluminum that would of been a total waste. That how it was advertised

100 pound spun aluminum satellite dish

10 foot diameter ... so transporting from here (probably for salvage) will require consideration. Dish is presently mounted on easily accessable low pitch roof ... requiring 1/2 hour or so ... to dismantle.

I can assist if needed. Air and rattle gun etc available.
