Rumor has it that by June 30th 2016 Comcast will be finished converting all it's programming to DVB-S2 Signal & your 4DTV box will only be good as a dish mover/ polarity controller.
I have noticed over the last 6 months channels are dropping, but the prices are not & my Programming Provider has been telling me the End is coming & not to buy more than 3 months at a time.

From what I've read, it sounds to be true. I find it strange though, no mention on skyvision or programming-center websites. Maybe, and hopefully, they will do similar to Rainier and offer subs to masters with a Cisco box after HITS removes the non-combomode DCII channels on W5. Hang in there and whatever you do, don't sub to AT&T or Dicknet!

The end of Hits could happen July 31st, it has been rolled back a couple times (it was May, then June and now July) I emailed the Programming Channel site and they said they aren't saying it will end because they are trying to work out a fix like they did in 2010 when they moved all the channels onto X4. May be the end of the DSR- 922 except for dish mover and need a new receiver this time but they are working on that. If they send me more info I will post it.

So as of right now the end of Hits is looking like July 31st if they don't come up with a fix.

Got my card in the mail that Hits will indeed shut down on July 31st. The end of an era in BUD.

I would guess that he is talking about PowerVu crack and you could do a little searching to find info. You would have to buy a box that can do the format and has keys needed.

Comcast HITS on X4 on 4DTV has breathed its last breath, today all channels were shut off. An Era of BUD has died.
