Need some help on Anik F1

I have a paid subscription with SC.I was playing around with an old Ariza 700 trying to get a few channels to come in FTA.When looking at Lyngsat there are a few channels that are FTA but I cannot get them to come in.Has anyone tried this or know how to get these FTA channels to come in?Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Even though those channels are FTA, you cannot get them with an FTA receiver. They are broadcast in DCII, not the DVB that FTA receivers use.

Hi Chris
If you have a star choice receiver that has been used legitimately in the past you can get the few FTA channels even if you’re not using it anymore for star choice. I have 4 receivers here and they all work. Tune in Anik f1 and have a look. Works for me should work for you.
