If you want just a HD receiver without Kodi and IPTV then get a Dreamlink t5 or a Jynxbox clone.

Yes. You will need to install a switch between your lnb's and receiver though if you don't already have one installed.

In the receiver there is a menu where you input the server codes from your reseller. You simply enter in the information they give you and the switch and receiver take care of switching from one bird to the other based on the channel you want to watch. In other words if you are on a dish channel and want to change to a bev channel, simply enter the channel number in with your remote and the receiver will change to that bev channel. This is assuming that you have the necessary lnb's and your dish is pointed at the birds you want to watch.
Is this what you are asking?
