What are the newest working FTA HD units out there?
YES
I must be some sort of dummy, I need and want a new Sat box.
IPTV took all the fun out and swearing at the box and dishes on the roof!
And I tired of just barley 720P on the IPTV
So is there any dealers out there any longer, or is it Ebay?
and what is a good unit?
There looks to be about 2 different boxes you can buy on ebay
dreamlink & jynxbox.... thats it?

I think you may be pretty accurate in your assessment as far as the availability of units on the market. Seems like most of the manufacturers are folding the tent. I used to allow for buying a new unit at least every two years but since I bought my last unit there are new changes coming to the game, namely, IPTV and the last box I bought was and android streaming unit. I know where you're coming from as far as tweaking and aligning dishes and there was an element of fun and accomplishment when you hit the bird you were aiming for. Alas, most things now are plug and play. A sign of the times I'm afraid to admit.

Ya,
I'm sure your right.
Why manufacture a satellite box when you can sell the IPTV that is virtually plug & play.
I don't like the picture on my avov or mag254.
It's fine to watch CNN and FOX, but to watch a movie, not as good as the ol' satellite.
I like to see the picture in true 1080P.
Right now, you can only get that thru satellite....

Have you try using Kodi for watching movie? there is tons of movie that play in full HD, 720P or in 3D. As for satellite receiver there are still a few option out there, like you mention dreamlink t6 or jynxbox is a good choice. I am still using Nfusion HD receiver for the past 6 years, in my opinion, it has the best picture of all HD receiver out there.
All satellite company only broadcast in 720P, if you want to watch true 1080P then IPTV box is the choice.
