I was wondering if any sonicview 8000hd owner can answer me.
I am trying to buy one for $180.00 Canadian.
Is it reasonable price?

Is that any turn-down issue I shouldn't buy for example I heard changing north to south you have to choose server?
Is that correct.
Thanks for reply

its a great box trust me on that you won't find a better one but that does seem steep, there is a power issue and if that does go and it will go trust me you will have to send it away and pay around fifty bucks to get it fixed then sent back so you'd be without the box for weeks. the server one and two thing is true but it takes maybe 5 seconds to go from server one to two. so if i were you i'd see if you get one cheaper the story is these boxes won't be good anymore soon but i've been hearing that for years.

The power supply has been changed already. Which one you prepare since I can get dreamlink T5 at the same price.

if i were you i'd take the dreamlink but if i were me i'd take the sonicview just because i know how good it is, if you haven't used the sonicview you wouldn't realize how good it is. i haven't used the dreamlink but i'm sure everybody that has one will tell you the same thing about their box.

I also agreee I've tried other boxes and the menu and guide just dont compare. You can categorize movies, sports etc and it has local OTA tuner. I sent my power supplies down to guy on ebay and he did awesome job, made it cooler and optimized it. I have 3 of them.

With rudimentary electronic skills & tools, the power supplies can be fixed on a kitchen table.
