Yes you did miss something, first you didn't need to delete the CHs, all you needed to do was edit the TPs and if you don't edit the TPs you will never get any CHs on sat 110.0w, next never use blind scan on a provider sat/ next, network search should be off,
and you should use auto scan.

When you say "edit tp's on 110" does that mean edit all of the tp's to HD settings? For example, what is the correct setting for 12224 tp? Should I change all of them to this setting?

no it should be 12224/21500 go through all of them and make sure there same so the next one would be 12339/21500 all of them end in 21500 good luck

I have a sv8000hd and it is very simple fix on this unit. Its a pain in the ass but you must change all the tp that give you "no signal" from 20000 to 21500 and on my unit change to turbo8psk.

So the correct setting for 12224 is 12224/21500 and change to turbo8psk.and so on all to 21500 turbo8psk

Is this only for 110w or must the tips also be changed on 119w and 129w

Sat 110.0w is the only 1 you need to edit for now.

I changed the suggested tps on 110w but I am not getting signal on that, or 129w
