I don't think you need a new module but "As for the channels lost, it seems that the Dreamlinks will need a new bin file from manufacture if they are still around, to allow a TURBO QPSK setting or something like that, to view SD channels with a 21500 symbol rate. NOTE you can still watch the HD channels (which have been mpeg4 for a long time) with your current unit setup (HD module installed and working, of course)."

not sure why a new bin file would be needed The rcvr is capable of scanning in the new channels

yes I have the new channels scanned in with a strong signal of 95% but no picture or sound on my Dreamlink t5.

Are you connected? Is your subscription up to date? Did you enter the information correctly? Have you got a module in the box? The module is for HD stuff, if you have one did it come with it or did you put it in? sometimes they can be a bit of if not installed correct. Note the little arrow on the module.

turbo 8psk won't work, you need qpsk

Yes it will! If you do the changes to 21500 SR and TURBO 8PSK then try 186 NTGEO it should work for you. It does for my neighbours using a DLHD.
Which means we're correct using TURBO 8PSK and waiting on the servers to catch up at their end.

Some people say they are getting signal with the transponder changes on their T5's and some like myself are not. I'd like to know which file the people who are getting signal are using in their T5's.

I have DVBS QPSK under transmitting. Turbo not mentioned. Is this ok?

maybe not qpsk

I'm pretty sure you are wrong on that point because I have updated & rescanned all my HD boxes with good results & also James Long uplink activity centre has the recent changes listed as T 8PSK not T QPSK
the last time DN used Turbo QPSK modulation was a few years ago on Anik F3 & that did not last too long before they scrapped it & went to mpeg2 compressiuon HD with QPSK modulation on 118.7

Set your Dreamlinks to 21500 SR and TURBO 8PSK on the 110 TP's that are down for you, not all have been converted so go to manual scan and scroll through the TP list waiting for blue bars on each. Another way I read of, is to use manual scan and delete all TP's except one, then change that one to 21500 and TURBO 8PSK then scroll to bottom (it's on next page, when scrolling down) and turn on network scan, then hit the red scan button and wait for it to complete.

Now go to channel 201 NOTAX, which is an "open" channel, if you get a picture and sound, then your end is set up, and you'll have to wait for your provider to complete their end.

My neighbours DLHD ( series 1 ) is receiving 201, 323, 329, 330, 341, 342, 343, 345, 351, etc.

I deleted all 110 channels on a ilink HD receiver. changed the transponders settings and scanned in the channels..
I do get many working that are mpeg4 21500 such as national geographic 186, history, also 203, and quite a few of the 300s... all say 21500 when you press info for each channel.
