I have a dish pro plus quand lnb. From my understanding the receiver has to be a duel tuner receiver? Is there a splitter I can use to go to single tuner? Or do I have this all wrong?

82 -> seems like I get all these channels
Lnb type is OCs- dp
Lnb frequency 11.25
Sw1.0: 2

91-> get maybe 30%
Lnb type: OCs-dp
Lnb frequency - 11.2 ???
Sw; 1

I'm using a sw21 splitter but it also does not have dish pro on it?

This lnb has 2 inputs for each satellite

Thanks

If you have a Dish pro Quad LNB, (has one large oval shaped eye with two white caps) then you do not need any type of switch or splitter.24771

This type of LNB has an internal switch, switching would be Diseqc port #1 = 91W, Diseqc port #2 = 82W.

OCS-DP for the LNB type and 11250 for the LNB frequency, this type of LNB came with several output configurations, one was with 4 outputs, another version was with only 2 outputs and a final version with 2 (or 3) outputs and one input.

The receiver does not have to be a dual input type, any single input receiver will do as long as it can put out 450 to 500 mA of DC current. (label at LNB input to receiver)

My lnb is the same as the picture. Do I need to be in the #1 spot on the lnb that connects to my dreamlink?

I have not been able to get 91 signal at 11.250 frequency only at 11.2?

Thanks Terryl I was having some slight issues when I was scanning the 2 northern satellites, was getting minimal channels , 1 of the sats would not lock when I was setting it up, read your reply post explaining the lnb settings I had the ocs dp setting ok , but didn't realize I had to set the setting identifying each sat by setting sat 1 as say 91 and sat 2 at 82

So you got it working Italian1 ??

And Immersion, we usually do not answer a question from another member in someone else's thread, that is called "Hijacking" and most members frown on it, if you are still having problems I can open your own thread on this subject and we can proceed from there.

This may also be why no one answered you back.

Sorry to hi jack this thread , but this is the thread I found the solution to my problem and yes I got it working perfectly. Mind you I had to call my isp since their service really sucks and it was lagging till they reset my modem and now I can say it is working perfect and freeze free Thanks again for your useful post and pic of the lnb
